What is the cancellation policy?

If booking is cancelled more than 7 days prior to arrival: 80% refund. If booking is cancelled less than 7 days but more than 48 hours: 50% refund. If booking is cancelled less than 48 hours: no refund. Contact Awaroa Glamping if you experience unforeseen travel delays.

Is there food available?

Pizza is served every evening at Awaroa Glamping, hot from our wood fired pizza oven. Pizzas are $25 and alcoholic drinks are $10. Breakfast and Lunch options also available. Alternatively you can bring your own food to cook.

How can I travel to Awaroa?

You can walk there on the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. (Please be aware the long hilly section of track between the Awaroa DOC Hut and Awaroa Glamping can be avoided by following the coastline.) You can also take a water taxi from Marahau or Kaiteriteri or fly to the Awaroa Airstrip on a plane or helicopter. You can also drive to the Awaroa carpark and walk across the estuary at low tide. High tide crossings from the carpark require a boat.

IS there WIFI Internet?

Wifi internet is provided by Project Janzoon and there is a fee to use the Wifi. You be able to get cell phone reception for mobile data but the reception is patchy.

Yes, we accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Bank Transfers and Cash payments.
